The Lord of Death, Yama, is holding the Wheel of Life, the centre showing a cock, pig and snake, surrounded by a band consisting of figures surrounded by six sections, each showing a scene of the hell and present worlds, encompassed by the ultimate ring with twelve scenes of the links of dependent origination or the schema that the Buddha offered to understand the biological process of life and death, in brocade mounting.
