Of quatrelobe shape, painted with a military trophy within a gilt foliate and scrollwork border surrounded by a gilt trellis ground with flower heads, each panel painted by Le Bel with a rose or cornflower sprig, the handles modelled with intertwining ribbon bows decorated with gilt dots, 40cm across handles, crowned interlaced LL monogram in red, painter's and gilder's marks LB for Le Bel (le jeune) and HP for Henri-Martin Prévost
