Tibeto-Chinese, 18th cent.

Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with his right hand raised holding the sword while the left is showing the vitarkamudra and grasping the stem of a lotus flowering along his upper arm supporting the manuscript, wearing dhoti, scarf draped around his shoulders, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes, his hair combed in a chignon and secured with a tiara, unsealed.
