Of flared hexagonal form with a shaped rim, the angular handle with an upturned thumbrest, delicately moulded with a geranium leaf below the lip, a feuilles-de-choux border below the rim, and scrolls around the base and handle, painted in blue on both sides with a 'Long Eliza' figure flanked by trees and birds, flower sprays to the interior, 11.1cm long

Four examples of this design with slightly different moulding have been recorded with the embossed mark 'Bristol' and are listed by Ray Jones, op.cit, 2018, pp.349 and 358-9, including one from the Gordon & Sue Guy-Jones Collection offered by Bonhams on 25 June 2026, lot 200. A very similar example to the present lot is illustrated by Geoffrey Godden, , 2004, p.94, pl.121 and col. pl.28 and was sold by Bonhams on 1 May 2013, lot 86.
