The dingyao bowl with shallow flaring sides, carved to the interior with stylised flowering lotus stems, covered in an ivory hued glaze; the meiping decorated with three foliate motifs to the shoulder on a cream slip ground; the jianyao bowl supported on a short foot, the flaring body rising to an everted rim, covered in a lightly flecked rich chocolate brown glaze, falling short of the foot to the exterior to reveal the grey pottery body.
The vase 21cm (8 1/4in) high; both bowls 13cm (5 1/8in) diam. (3).
