The pattern made of silk stands out in relief from the gold-flecked field ground. In the centre of the mirror-symmetrical composition is a large circular leaf in top view, from which strong blue branches with lobed leaves extend. Ten smaller leaves, shown in side view, sit on the branches. The wave-and-mountain border, from which Mount Meru emerges four times, is fully knotted.
