The centre showing the 'Defender of the Faith', Yamantaka, standing with his multiple legs in pratyalidhasana on a lotus base, embracing with his principle arms his consort Vetali, his hands holding karttrika and kapala, the other thirty-four arms radiating around his body, naked, garland of severed heads draped around his shoulders, his central bull-head surrounded by various heads, flaming aureole behind, the upper register with Tsongkhapa at its centre flanked by Atisha, pupils and mahasiddhas, Guhyasamaja and Chakrasamvara, flanked by four Mahakala manifestations, the lower section with the central placed Sadbhujamahakala flanked by various deities including Vaishravana, Yama, Shri Devi and Begtse and all placed in a mountainous landscape, framed.
