说明:Built in 1673, the Kintai [lit. Brocade Sash] Bridge spans the Nishiki River in western Japan with its five wooden arches resting on stone pillars. The slanting rain that distinguishes this early printing was omitted in later editions. The Kintai Bridge was also depicted by Utagawa Hiroshige II (1826-1869) [see Lot 230].
