The vase of pear-form with a flaring neck, covered in a dark brown and russet splashed glaze, inscribed to the front referencing a wine shop in Tianjin; the bowl resting on a cylindrical foot, the rounded sides rising to a flared rim, covered overall in a creamy-brown glaze suffused with a matrix of iron wire and gold crackles.
