The vase is in good overall condition. The black glaze is darker than appears in the catalogue, and the crackle is more subtle. The surface is typically worn and with glaze imperfections.
There is an area of restoration to the rim measuring approx 6 cm long and 0.6 cm wide. There are hairline cracks radiating from the foot, including a U-shaped crack across the lower half of the body. Chips to foot ring.
