说明：金兵南侵、宋廷於1135年前後南遷後，除杭州官窰外，南方若干窰場亦因宮廷南移而得以發展，並與官窰生產相互呼應。以大窰為中心的龍泉窰場順應新近南遷的宮廷與統治階層之需求，燒造釉層肥厚、開片自然，風格近似杭州官窰青瓷的器物，其中部分極可能為宮廷訂燒。
可比較Marvin L. Gordon博士伉儷收藏一件相近例，著錄於《The Gordon Collection: Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art》，J. J. Lally & Co.，紐約，2009年，編號23；另見胡惠春暫得樓舊藏兩例，載於Helen D. Ling及仇焱之，《暫得樓珍藏歷代名瓷影譜》，卷一，香港，1950年，編號22及28。前者當時定為郊壇下官窰，後於紐約佳士得2022年3月25日拍賣，編號1030；後者與本品尤為相近。
