Dark red, sheer silk gauze (leno weave) with additional brocaded pattern weft of colored silk. Matching neck trim and cuffs in black silk gauze. Edging in silk woven with gold thread. Five closures with brass spherical buttons, one additional on the inside.The typical pattern features eight dragons amidst clouds, treasures, cranes, and shou medallions above the high diagonal lines of deep water. Designed after 18th-century models.
