Comprising: a mother-of-pearl inlaid lacquer panel depicting a monk and a boy carrying a double-gourd staff in a mountainous landscape, the reverse with a poetic inscription wuxianqingshanxingyujin baiyunshenchulaosengduo (The endless green mountains are coming to an end, deep within the white clouds, many old monks dwell); a coromandel panel depicting an Immortal and attendant under pine and bamboo trees, the reverse with poetic inscription; five paintings depicting a lady, two civil officials, an archer and birds perched on rockwork amidst flowers, ink and colour on paper, framed and glazed. The largest 44.5cm (17 1/2in) high x 33.5cm (13 1/8in) wide excluding its frame. (7).

Jeremy Mason, London
Jeremy Mason is a noted bibliophile and dealer in Chinese and Japanese art who started his career at Christie's in the late 1960s, particularly known for his collection of Oscar Wilde books and ephemera, sold by Bonhams London in February 2026. His Chinese art collection was housed in his 18th century townhouse, Hoyle's House, London, some pieces for the last 50 years.
