Painted to the exterior with a lively continuous scene of 'Boys at Play' in a garden. The animated figures are shown engaged in various pursuits beneath willow and pine trees; playing instruments, playing, flying kites, dancing, riding a hobby horse. The interior is centred by a single boy playing with a trailing toy, enclosed within double circles, with a further double line beneath the rim. The recessed base bears an underglaze cobalt-blue six-character Da Qing Yongzheng nian zhi mark within double circles. The playful subject and fluidly rendered cobalt decoration create a particularly engaging narrative scene.
外壁以青花通景描繪庭院嬰戲圖，童子們嬉戲於柳樹與松樹之下，或吹奏樂器，或追逐玩耍，或放風箏、起舞、騎竹馬，人物神態活潑，場面熱鬧生動。碗心青花雙圈內繪一名童子牽拉玩具，口沿下另飾青花雙弦紋。底部內凹，青花雙圈內書「大清雍正年製」六字款。
童子嬉遊的題材配合流暢生動的青花筆觸，使整體畫面充滿趣味與敘事感。
