Of rectangular form with canted corners and sloping shoulders, the vessel is fitted with a short circular neck and a cylindrical cover. The four sides are painted in underglaze cobalt blue with various garden landscapes depicting fortified walls, pavilions, terraces, rockwork and flowering plants, each scene framed by double vertical lines. The sloping shoulders are similarly decorated with architecture, rocks and flowers, continuing the landscape theme. The cylindrical cover is painted with a continuous riverscape of pavilions, distant mountains and water, with further landscape decoration on the top. The flat base is left unglazed and shows visible potting marks.
The unusual, angular form and freely executed cobalt decoration lend the vessel a distinctive character. The continuous architectural and riverside landscapes create a tranquil, expansive setting. The vessel was probably intended as a covered tea or spice canister.
此罐作倭角長方形，折肩，中央設圓形短口，配圓筒形蓋。器身四面以青花分別描繪園林山水圖，城牆、樓閣、亭臺、山石與花木錯落其間，各面以青花雙線分隔。折肩處續繪亭臺、山石及花卉，與器身紋飾相互銜接。圓筒形蓋環繪江岸山水，亭舍掩映於遠山流水之間，頂面亦飾山水景致。底部平整露胎，可見明顯修坯痕跡。
整器造型方正而別致，青花筆觸率意，濃淡暈染自然，連續展開的城郭園林與江岸山水營造出幽靜開闊的意境。依其形制，應為帶蓋茶葉罐或香料罐。
