A Chinese ko-sometsuke plate, finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue with two large shrimp beside an eight-character poem reading Qian yu Cangming, xing ruo long xing (潛於滄溟，形若龍行), translated as: “Hides in the Cangming River, with a form like the shape of a dragon”. The cavetto moulded with anhua waves and a continuous band of ruyi-heads, the underside decorated with underglaze-blue waves, the base bearing a six-character Xuande mark within a double circle.
此件中國古染付青花盤，以釉下青花繪兩尾大蝦，旁題八字詩句：「潛於滄溟，形若龍行」，意為潛游於蒼茫大海之中，其形態宛如游龍。
盤內壁模印暗花海水紋，口沿環飾一周暗花如意雲頭紋。盤背以青花繪海水紋，底部青花雙圈內書「大明宣德年製」六字款。
