Overall in excellent condition. The patinated iron surfaces present with scattered fine scratches, light scuffs, and minor edgewear, including subtle rubbing to the patina, all consistent with age and not visually distracting. The gilt iron decorative elements and feet present with scattered small flecks to the gilding, none of which detract from the overall presentation. The later fabric shade is in excellent condition, with a few minor light scuffs and specks of discoloration, as well as minimal surface soiling to the edges of the binding, visible only upon close inspection.
