Elegantly modelled with wide arching brows converging on a narrow nose bridge, the upswept eyes gazing serenely downwards, beneath a heart-shaped hairline with symmetrical, tight curls of hair to the dome and ushnisha, traces of gilding remaining, later metal stand. The head 32.5cm (12 3/4in) high. (2).
