Of compressed globular shape, raised on an elegant oval 'twisted rope' foot ring with waisted neck, straight mouth rim and circular mouth, carved to each side with mock lion mask and ring handles flanking a carp swimming downward with flared tail fins or whiskers extended, a six-character Qianlong mark under the foot ring, the stone of a rare grey black tone throughout.
