The flattened body of rounded rectangular form supported on a short foot and below a cylindrical neck with flat mouth rim, the pale grey stone marked with a dark splash-like inclusion, possibly alluding to a white hare hiding in a bush, stopper. 6.2cm (2 1/2in) high. (2).

The present bottle features an optical illusion of a hare, the body partially concealed within the foliage. Associated with Chang'e, the Goddess of the Moon, it symbolises both immortality and the moon. It is also the fourth animal of the Zodiac.
