As can be seen in the illustrations, there are some minor dents and rubbing to the lacquer, a few of the blossoms with some wear to the gold hiramaki-e, a few dents and small lacquer losses with associated old restorations, there is some wear and rubbing to the copper rims and copper-gilt fittings, consistent with age and use, the inner tray with some old repairs to the corners and edges at the base and around the copper rims, sone slight cracking to the lacquer in the interior, the base with some old surface wear, including slight cracking to the lacquer, light scratches, some rubbing and some old wear around the rims.
