The Cizhou jar painted in iron brown on a cream slip ground with stylised cranes and foliate designs; the bowl decorated with a floral frieze to the exterior and dragons to the interior encircling a floral medallion; the charger decorated in turquoise, green and iron red with a lotus pond scene, within a border of birds, flowers and landscape cartouches on a trellis and medallion ground.
