款識:
甲午春日,寫於巴西摩詰城。蜀人張大千爰。
鈐印:「張爰之印」、「大千居士」。
來源:香港蘇富比,二〇〇七年四月,中國書畫拍賣,編號965
註:一九五三年,張大千移家南美,年底購入巴西聖保羅東南Moji市土地約二百畝,大興土木修建園林,他將該地音譯為「摩詰」,遂名園曰「摩詰山園」。本幅寫於一九五四年春,屬其筆下較早的摩詰山水之一。當時園林初建,未具規模,畫中崇山疊瀑,應移植胸中丘壑,非取實景,惟臨窗點綴婦孺身影,故知本幅所寫,乃投射畫家理想中的山園景象。
