The rootwood stand is in overall good condition. When examined under UV light, there appear to be no visible signs of restoration. As is characteristic of aged rootwood, the piece exhibits natural weathering, inherent drying fissures, and textural irregularities throughout. The surface has developed a rich, warm patina over time, which is particularly pronounced to the extremities and areas of handling. Furthermore, the upper sections display a thin layer of natural pale patination and minor encrustation, consistent with the natural ageing and oxidation process of the wood.
