Each chair composed of a three-section top rail supported by a curved back splat carved with a circular dragon roundel, the horse-shoe back joined by back rails and posts to the frame seat carved to the front with a keyfret apron, the front and back legs with stepped box stretchers; together with a late Qing/Republic period tall wood stand with a single-board top set into a hidden tenon frame supported by square legs tenoned to an open 't' apron.
