A blue and white Kraak dish with characteristic panelled decoration. The central octagonal cartouche depicts a grasshopper perched on a rock beside large peony blossoms, beneath a curling cloud, surrounded by beaded motifs in two shades of cobalt blue, fretwork, and floral scrolls in reverse decoration.
The rim is divided into eight bracket-lobed cartouches containing finely rendered peaches and auspicious emblems in alternating panels. These are separated by narrow sections decorated with pearl and dot motifs, with similar patterns above and below encircling the central scene.
The reverse is similarly arranged, though with more restrained decoration. The cartouches are decorated with pearls and dots, separated by narrow panels filled with stylised cloud motifs.
此件克拉克青花盤採用典型的分格開光裝飾。盤心八方形開光內繪花蟲圖，一隻蚱蜢棲於山石之上，旁有碩大牡丹盛放，上方卷雲舒展。開光外環飾深淺兩色連珠紋、回紋及青花地留白纏枝花卉紋。
口沿分為八組海棠形開光，內交替繪桃實與吉祥雜寶，描繪細緻。各開光之間以飾珍珠及圓點紋的狹長分格相隔，盤心畫面上下亦環飾相近紋樣。
盤背同樣採用分格布局，裝飾較為簡潔。開光內繪珍珠及圓點紋，各組之間的狹長分格填飾程式化雲紋。
