The large and imposing vase of bulbous body rising from a splayed foot and curved neck and splayed mouth rim, decorated to each side with pairs of confronting four-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl amidst ruyi clouds above shoushan fuhai, the mountains of longevity and sea of bliss, enclosed between bands of scattered prunus blossoms, the neck further decorated with a large band of stylised lotus flower scrolls and above a band of of grapevine, the foot further adorned with a band tianma mythical horses, the shoulders with a pair of gilt-copper lion-mask and loose ring handles to each side
