说明：The elegantly simplified scroll and foliate decoration of the capitals of these columns is inspired by Islamic and medieval ornament rather than classical forms and is typical of late medieval and early Renaissance work in Seville, seen for example on columns in the Alcazar and the Casa de Pilatos, completed in the sixteenth century. A very similar set of four 16th-century Andalusian marble columns formerly in William Randolph Hearst Collection at Hearst Castle, San Simeon and exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 1971 was sold Sotheby's London, 9 October 2013, lot 112.
