overall generally good condition, tiny flakes to tips of a couple flower petals, lacking spoon.

The two-color stone of flattened slightly tapering rounded-rectangular form, the shoulders sloping to a short neck, the lip flat, the slightly recessed foot surrounded by an oval footrim, the stone sharply divided, a dark chocolate-brown side with an inscription from a Northern Song poem, signed Shi’an, the reverse side olive-green, carved through the chocolate-brown skin with a flowering prunus branch.
Note:
Shi’an is the hao or sobriquet of Liu Yong (1719-1805), the pre-eminent scholar-official during the Qianlong and Jiaqing periods, regarded as one of the most influential calligraphers of the period.
