This water bowl represents an unusual type of stem bowl, as it was made in two sections, consisting of a bowl and a stem. The present example preserves only the bowl. Compare with a related example illustrated in Stephen Little, Chinese Ceramics of the Transitional Period: 1620-1683, China Institute in America, New York: 1983, p.17, fig.21 and 21a.
此水盂屬於較為少見的一類高足碗形式，原為分體製作，由碗身與足部構成，現僅存碗身部分。可參考一件相關例，見Stephen Little著《Chinese Ceramics of the Transitional Period: 1620–1683》，美國中國研究院，紐約，1983年，第17頁，圖21及21a。
