By the workshop of Ando Jubei, Showa period, early 20th century
Of ovoid form with a gently flaring neck and foot, brightly enamelled to the shoulder with a leafy flowering gardenia stem, the central flowerhead with variegated petals, reserved against a delicate lemon yellow ground, silver mounts, Ando workshop mark to the base.
