Qianlong six-character marks and of the period
Each finely constructed with five lobes, in the form of a stylised prunus blossom, supported on a tall circular foot, the interior brightly enamelled with a central stylised shou character surrounded by radiating petal lappets and lotus scrolls, enclosed by a border of archaistic chilong and further shou medallions, the exterior similarly decorated, the foot with stylised bats on a yellow ground interspersed with shou medallions, the interior of the foot with floral scrolls on a turquoise ground, each with a rectangular gilt-bronze cartouche enclosing a six-character Qianlong mark, fitted box.

The present lot is an unusual and particularly refined example, distinguished by its five-lobed form and high, broad foot. Its surface is enlivened by a rich palette of enamels arranged across Imperial yellow, turquoise and deep sapphire-blue grounds. The repeated roundels reinforce the dish's auspicious character, expressing wishes for longevity, while its substantial stem form may suggest a ceremonial or offering function.
