A comparable example to the 'tangerine peel' can be found in the collection of the Royal Ontario Museum, dated 1750-1900, accession no.. The present example is distinguished by a deep colour and a fuller, more rounded form.
本組鼻煙壺中，僅一件以柑皮製成。可同安大略皇家博物館所藏一件，斷代為1750-1900，館藏編號對比。本件色澤更深沉，器身更顯圓潤豐碩。
