Embroidered throughout in gold-couched thread with four front-facing five-clawed dragons, one to the chest, back and each shoulder, amidst ruyi-form clouds, bats, cranes and Buddhist auspicious emblems, above lishui waves, the narrow waistband further worked with four pairs of confronting dragons, the pleated skirt with eight dragon roundels to each of the front and back, above striding dragons amidst clouds and auspicious emblems, with further dragon motifs concealed within the inner overlap, 201 x 128cm.
