Comprising: a painted enamel 'European subject' tea bowl; a painted enamel 'Cherry Pickers' beaker cup; a painted enamel 'pheasant' tea bowl; eight quadrilobed painted enamel cups, various decorated with landscapes, figurative scenes and Shou-character roundels; a gilt and famille rose 'luohan' tea bowl; a grisaille-decorated 'Europeans' tea bowl; and three mother-of-pearl inlaid black lacquer 'landscape' cups. Provenance: Jeremy Mason, London
Jeremy Mason is a noted bibliophile and dealer in Chinese and Japanese art who started his career at Christie's in the late 1960s, particularly known for his collection of Oscar Wilde books and ephemera, sold by Bonhams London in February 2026. His Chinese art collection was housed in his 18th century townhouse, Hoyle's House, London, some pieces for the last 50 years.
