Generally good visual condition, some polishing of flakes to edges of lip and to foot, a few small flakes to edge of foot.

Of flattened rounded-rectangular form, the shoulders sloping to a cylindrical neck, with a concave lip and protruding oval footrim, one main side skillfully carved to depict a standing figure punting a boat with a seated scholar near the canopy at one end, a bat nearby and the moon above, with the water rushing beneath the prow, the remainder of the bottle undecorated.
