Each of oval form, raised on four ball-and-claw feet and finely painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The removable liners are decorated with hunting scenes enclosed by a narrow floral border. The pierced outer bodies are formed as an elegant oval lattice enclosed between plain bands, while the feet are highlighted in underglaze cobalt blue.
The unusual form was adapted from European silver salt cellars, which were typically fitted with removable glass liners. This combination of a European shape and Chinese porcelain reflects the growing influence of Western decorative arts on Chinese export porcelain during the Qing dynasty.
每件鹽碟均作橢圓形，下承四個球爪足，以青花精繪紋飾。可拆卸的瓷質內膽繪狩獵圖，外環一道窄幅花卉紋。外壁鏤空作秀雅的橢圓形網格，上下以素面邊帶為界，四足亦以青花點綴。
此類少見器形仿自歐洲銀製鹽碟，原型通常配有可拆卸的玻璃內膽。歐洲器形與中國瓷器工藝的結合，反映出清代西方裝飾藝術對中國外銷瓷設計日益深入的影響。
