The finely potted and modelled teapot and cover of globular form with a loop handle and straight spout, the cover and base finely modelled with a petal-shaped border and with further modelled base in the form of gilt-decorated leafy branches, overall decorated to the exterior in famille-rose palette depicting a continuous scene of carp fish swimming amongst vegetations and flowers
