Overall in very good condition. The marble tops present with scattered fine surface scratches, scuffs, occasional very minor abrasions and a few very small edge losses, the largest measuring approximately ¼ x ⅛ in. (0.6 x 0.3 cm), consistent with age and gentle use. The brass ring elements present with fine scratches, scattered losses to the finish, some shallow indentations and traces of oxidation, none of which is not visually distracting. The rings are ever so slightly out of round, which is more pronounced to one ring. The painted iron legs present with scattered flecks to the paint, a few shallow indentations and traces of light oxidation, none of which detracts from the overall presentation. The gilt-bronze rope elements present with scuffs, scattered losses and traces of oxidation, as well as a few fine casting irregularities which may be inherent to the making. The brass feet present with scattered fine scratches, scuffs, losses to the finish and oxidation, all commensurate with age and use and not visually distracting.
