Qing Dynasty, 18th century
The box and its slightly domed cover decorated on the exterior with meandering foliate lotus scrolls with red petals, all set against a sky-blue background, the rims further adorned with bands of deep blue ruyi heads, all raised on a short spraying foot with florets, fitted box.
