说明：如此尺寸碩大、紋飾雄渾的掐絲琺瑯盤極為罕見。本盤體量恢宏，製作繁複精細，所飾龍紋氣勢磅礴，應出自北京紫禁城內務府造辦處琺瑯作；該處匯聚當時技藝最精湛的工匠，專事製作構思新穎、工藝艱鉅且富麗奪目的宮廷器物。盤內五爪雙龍翻騰於流雲之間，共逐火珠，構圖雄健有力，氣勢懾人。
北京故宮博物院藏器中可見相近的雲龍戲珠紋飾。可比較清宮舊藏一件明萬曆掐絲琺瑯花口盤，載於《故宮博物院藏品大系：琺瑯器編1：元明掐絲琺瑯》，北京，2011年，圖版109；另有一件萬曆六字款掐絲琺瑯雲龍紋盆，紋飾亦與本品相近，載於同書，圖版110。
Pierre Uldry收藏一件尺寸稍大、與本品甚為相近的盤，著錄於Helmut Brinker及Albert Lutz，《Chinesisches Cloisonne: Die Sammlung Pierre Uldry》，蘇黎世，1985年，圖版222。另可參考Krolik收藏一件器形相近、配色相同而飾龍鳳紋的盤，著錄於Edgar Bluett，〈Chinese Cloisonne in the Krolik Collection〉，《Oriental Art》，1965年冬季刊，頁222，圖5；後於倫敦蘇富比1970年2月24日拍賣，編號35。另有一件尺寸較小的龍鳳紋盤，其龍紋刻畫與本品極為相似，於倫敦蘇富比1990年6月12日拍賣，編號50。
