Good overall condition and particularly finely painted in areas, with only minor surface wear. Occasional losses to gilding, black-enamel inscriptions and, very occasionally, to the iron-red enamel as typical for vases of this type. Typical firing imperfections include iron spots and a star-crack to the base. The base and footrim have been ground.
