The centre is finely painted with a garden scene depicting a gathering of musicians performing beneath a pine tree. The figures play a variety of instruments while attendants stand nearby. Birds fly overhead, while a large water jar, a teapot, a pottery stove and a feather fan are arranged on the ground, enlivening the bustling composition. The central scene is encircled by a lotus-pond border. The rim is decorated with a dense diaper ground reserved with shaped cartouches enclosing further figural garden scenes. The reverse is sparsely painted with two delicate flowering sprays.
盤心精繪庭院奏樂圖，一眾樂師聚於松樹之下，分別演奏各式樂器，旁有侍者隨立，空中禽鳥飛翔，地面置水缸，茶壺，陶爐和羽扇，畫面熱鬧生動。中心畫面外環飾蓮池紋，口沿以繁密錦地紋為底，其間留設各式開光，內繪園林人物圖。盤背裝飾疏朗，僅繪兩組秀雅的折枝花卉。
