In good condition.

The finely potted box of quatrefoil form features a cover delicately painted to depict five bats circling a large central shou medallion amidst auspicious clouds. The exterior side walls are similarly decorated with bats and clouds, while the mouth rims are highlighted in gilt. The interior and underside are covered in a turquoise glaze. The box rests within a fitted rosewood base, further raised upon a boxwood stand carved with openwork bat decoration, and is accompanied by a brocade box.
