蓮花冠子道人衣，日侍君王宴紫微。花柳不知春已去，年年鬥綠與爭菲。丹徒胡若思。
鈐印：「胡嚴」、「丹徒」。

註：胡若思早慧，三十年代末至四十年代，技法已臻成熟，畫風逼肖大千，惟本幅筆墨、構圖宗法古人，與乃師相去頗遠，畫上錄唐寅〈王蜀宮姬圖〉之題詩，仕女姿態、庭院佈景則似參略其〈班姬團扇圖〉，而唐畫工寫並施，色調清淡，本幅則線條圓轉，瓔珞環佩、衣袂紋飾及石板雕鏤之刻畫無微不至，極盡工巧。全畫設色以綠為基調，敷染精微細緻，濃淡得宜，既見滿目生機，亦襯出仕女嫻靜端莊之態。胡若思嘗於大風堂摹仇英〈柳蔭雙美〉，其柳樹筆法、仕女裝束，頗近本幅。從書風、用筆推知，本幅似出四十年代初。

梁勁予（1911-2003），名從業，號思庵，廣東臺山人。師事陳微明習楊氏太極，又隨名醫石筱山習針灸、內外科，後於港澳兩地開設環中太極拳社，以行醫授拳為職志。梁氏性耽文藝，嘗請益繪事於胡佩衡等諸家，卅年代初，其作品已刊於〈湖社月刊〉。客居京津時，透過乃師關係，與當時北方畫壇名宿均有交誼，並盡心廣集諸家力作。至於在港期間，與嶺南書畫文藝名宿過從甚密，時得寫贈，亦透過胡佩衡，購藏北方諸家書畫。
本輯集南北名家精品十件，創作年代跨晚清至四十年代，俱屬諸家藝事盛期佳製，可知梁氏精挑藏品之標準。
