款識：
〈徐〉書畫著錄有石恪〈鍾馗小妹圖〉，茲箑用其意也。歲癸酉中秋初度，作此為戲，燕孫徐操識於霜紅廔。
〈劉〉甲戌端午前為伯剛道兄法正，劉奎齡。
鈐印：〈徐〉「燕孫」、「徐操」。
〈劉〉「耀宸」。
上款：「伯剛」即民國時期津門銀行家、收藏家魏恩甲，原籍江蘇。其父魏長忠（1871-1934），早歲於天津經營銀號，復開辦麵粉、綿紗等實業，曾出任日商橫濱正金銀行天津支店買辦。殁後，其子魏伯剛繼任正金銀行職位。他好書畫，與張大千、陳少梅等名家往來，獲寫贈豐，尤嗜劉奎齡畫藝，二、三十年代訂購其作品甚夥，其中扇畫質量尤佳。傳世作品所示，畫家初為作扇每題「仁兄」，後相交益深，至三十年代，即改稱「道兄」。
