The deep rounded sides rising to a gently inverted rim, covered inside and out with a translucent green glaze except for the short ring foot, revealing the light gray stoneware body.

Compare the similar celadon bowl in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum, illustrated in , Vol. 5, , Tokyo, 2013, p. 41, no. 3, noting that bowls of this form with thick celadon glaze used to be called 'Green Jun', but in light of changing scholarship based on archaeological surveys, researchers today tend to attribute them to Linru kiln in Henan province.
