Of compressed globular form, the body rising to a short cylindrical neck with a broad everted rim, set with a wide curved spout opposite a slender loop handle. The body is moulded on either side with a heart-shaped cartouche in low relief, each enclosing a lotus pond scene with flowering lotus, buds, broad leaves and aquatic plants, all painted in underglaze cobalt blue. The reserved panels are framed by scattered floral sprays and scrolling foliage, while narrow floral scroll bands encircle the neck and foot. The spout is decorated with simple scrolling motifs in underglaze cobalt blue.
此壺腹部扁圓，上承短直頸，口沿寬闊外撇。一側置寬闊曲流，另一側設纖細環柄。器腹兩面各模印一心形淺浮雕開光，內繪荷塘清景，盛開的荷花、含苞蓮蕾、闊大荷葉與水草相映成趣。開光外散飾折枝花卉及纏枝花葉，頸部與近足處各環飾一道窄幅纏枝花卉紋。壺流則以青花繪簡練的卷草紋。
