Tianqi to Yongzheng
Comprising: a flower-form famille jaune miniature cup decorated with floral panels, with a butterfly-form handle; a famille rose flower-form tea bowl finely enamelled with varying animal panels to the exterior on geometric grounds, the interior with a lady and boy medallion; a wine cup and saucer decorated with figural and floral panels on a gilt ground reserved with scrolling flowers and foliage; a famille verte hexagonal tall cup; and a shaped famille verte large saucer with a lotus bouquet to the well and panels of sea creatures, flowers and landscape to the sides.
The large saucer: 14.2cm (5 5/8in) wide. (6).

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tritton bought Godmersham Park in 1936, and not only rescued the house, but filled it with one of the finest post-war collections of English and French furniture in this country. The property at one time belonged to Jane Austen's brother, Edward Austen Knight, and there are letters written by her describing Godmersham and its beautiful park.
Anthony du Boulay (1929–2022) was a renowned British expert in Chinese porcelain. He served as Director of the Asian and European Ceramics and Works of Art Department at Christie's, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the market for Chinese ceramics. Over his career, he became a leading authority on the subject, publishing influential books, including (1973) and (1984). Known for his discerning eye and deep knowledge, du Boulay was also a respected lecturer and consultant, sharing his expertise with museums, institutions, and private collectors.
