Due to the nature of hanging scrolls being rolled and unrolled, most Japanese scrolls on paper have some creasing and associated wear to pigments in places, there is some toning to the paper, minor soiling, minor rubbing to the seal, there are some holes and wormage that have been patched from the reverse, some further repairs to creases and elsewhere, some losses to the gofun in places within the robe of the figure
